I hope you’ve been finding these past few emails as motivation to get you and your family outside and active together. It can be so easy to fall into the habit of coming home after a long day and then staying there instead of heading out.
One of my favorite things about getting active with my own family is the time that it gives us to reconnect and catch up with one another about our days. It gives us that time, that moment, to really touch base with one another and see how we are all doing. Sometimes we walk in silence, and sometimes we walk with lots of conversation...but it really helps us unite as a family unit.
Another thing that we like to do that I want you to do is to head out and play basketball! Whether you play 1:1 or 2:2 or Around the World, it’ll bring out a friendly competition dynamic and it will get your heart rate up and fresh air in your lungs!
